The SmoliTec lithium-ion battery safety box is now also available as a complete set, filled with nine 5-liter Extover® fire extinguishing pillows. This configuration offers maximum protection for storing and transporting lithium-ion and LiPo batteries by combining a certified UN dangerous goods box with proven Extover® fire protection technology.
The nine Extover® pillows are evenly placed inside the box to create a highly effective thermal buffer. Batteries are positioned on, between, and underneath the pillows to ensure complete encapsulation. This prevents shifting during transport and provides optimal protection in case of a thermal event. After loading, the box is securely closed and tightened with the included strap.
Attention: This complete set is suitable only for undamaged or non-critical defective lithium-ion batteries according to packaging regulations P908 / LP904. If there is a risk that a damaged cell may ignite during transport, approval according to Special Provision 376 is required. Batteries that may disassemble rapidly, cause dangerous reactions, fire, heat generation, or emit hazardous gases must only be transported under conditions specified by the competent authority.
