The AkkuSafeBox by SmoliTec allgäu supports the organised collection of approved waste batteries at commercial collection points. Its double-wall aluminium enclosure, Extover® protective filling and internal Extover® cushions are designed to reduce risks during stationary collection. The AkkuSafeBox is available exclusively for commercial rental.
The clearly visible red deposit frame at the front allows customers to deposit batteries approved for collection at the site individually. The deposit slot measures 100 × 50 mm and features an internal flap that opens inward. Larger approved batteries can be placed through the service opening by trained staff.
The anthracite powder-coated enclosure is made from double-wall AlMg3 aluminium with a sheet thickness of 1.5 mm per wall. The protective filling combines Extover® Fine and Coarse grades. A 40 mm base plate made from pressed Extover® with water glass as a binder complements the construction at the bottom. Extover® cushions with retaining grids form part of the internal protective arrangement.
The removable collection insert supports controlled emptying by trained staff. Its internal dimensions are approximately 48 × 22 × 14 cm in the order height × width × depth. The complete external box measures approximately 78 × 36 × 27 cm. The lockable lid protects the service opening against unauthorised access.

The monthly rental fee is €69.00 per AkkuSafeBox excluding applicable VAT. The displayed item price covers one rental month for one box. The AkkuSafeBox remains the property of SmoliTec. The rental agreement specifies the term, provision, return arrangements and any agreed service coverage.
Permitted battery types, energy and load limits, and the fill limit depend on the documented approval for the specific box. The acceptance list must be agreed with the collection scheme or waste contractor. Devices containing built-in batteries may only be accepted if the agreed collection route expressly includes them.
Damaged, swollen or leaking batteries must not be deposited through the public slot. Their acceptance requires a separately agreed procedure and a suitable, approved box version. Hot, smoking or already reacting batteries must not be carried to the box.
The AkkuSafeBox is intended for stationary collection. Batteries must not be charged during waste battery collection. Operation, emptying and maintenance must be carried out by trained staff in accordance with the operating instructions. After a fire event, the box may only be reused following specialist assessment and approval.
The enclosure and Extover® filling are intended to reduce risk. Complete extinguishment, complete gas containment or a specified fire resistance period are not guaranteed. This product offer does not confirm dangerous goods transport approval or suitability under ADR P911.
