Extover® 10L Coarse in a transparent heavy-duty plastic bucket is a professional safety solution for handling lithium-ion and LiPo batteries. The coarse expanded glass granulate with a grain size of approx. 1–4 mm is ideal for storage, transport, charging stations, workshops, industry, research and logistics applications.
In the event of a fire, the granulate is applied loosely over the source of the fire. Extover® expanded glass granulate surrounds the fire source, reduces oxygen supply and supports controlled containment of lithium and metal fires. At extremely high temperatures, the material can melt and form a sealing protective layer.
The transparent heavy-duty plastic bucket allows quick visual inspection of the fill level while providing a durable and resealable storage solution for professional environments.
Extover® consists of 100% inorganic expanded glass granulate and is inert, ageing-resistant, acid- and alkali-resistant and maintenance-free. Unlike conventional extinguishing agents, it does not cause typical secondary damage associated with water, foam or powder.
