Extover® 5L Fine in a heavy-duty plastic bucket is a practical and robust safety solution for handling lithium-ion and LiPo batteries. The fine inorganic expanded glass granulate with a grain size of approx. 0.25–0.5 mm is ideal for storage, charging, transport and safety applications in workshops, warehouses, industry, research and RC model building.
Thanks to its excellent flow behavior, the fine granulate can fill small gaps, cavities and hard-to-reach areas around battery packs particularly well. In the event of a fire, Extover® can surround the source of the fire, reduce the oxygen supply and form a sealing protective layer at high temperatures.
The sturdy heavy-duty plastic bucket provides clean, resealable and easy-to-store packaging. This keeps the granulate ready for use at all times and makes it especially convenient for workshops, storage areas, service departments, transport zones and battery charging stations.
Extover® consists of 100 % inorganic expanded glass, is inert, ageing-resistant, acid- and alkali-resistant and maintenance-free. It does not cause the typical consequential damage associated with conventional extinguishing agents, making it particularly suitable for applications involving sensitive electronics, batteries, tools and technical components.
