Whether used in workshops, battery charging areas, e-bike and e-scooter service centres or for the safe storage of lithium batteries, the required quantity of fire-extinguishing granulate depends on the individual application. We are therefore expanding our range with two new package sizes of Extover® Coarse: 20 litres and 40 litres.
The convenient 20 litre sack is particularly suitable for smaller storage areas, individual battery safes, workshops and mobile applications. The versatile 40 litre sack provides a larger reserve of granulate and is ideal for more comprehensive safety concepts, multiple storage containers and larger charging or working areas.
Extover® consists of lightweight expanded-glass granulate with a particle size of approximately 1 to 4 mm. The granulate is applied generously to the source of the fire, surrounding it and reducing the oxygen available to the flames. At high temperatures, it additionally forms a solidified, airtight protective layer that helps prevent reignition.
Extover® therefore provides a clean, maintenance-free and versatile solution for lithium battery and metal fires. In addition to the new 20 and 40 litre package sizes, the proven 55 litre sack will, of course, remain available.
