This complete solution combines a robust UN-certified hazardous goods box with nine 5-liter Extover® fire extinguishing cushions, providing a professional safety system for the storage and transportation of lithium-ion and LiPo batteries.
The cushions are filled with specially developed Extover® Coarse fire extinguishing granules (particle size 1–4 mm). Positioned evenly inside the box, they create a thermal protection barrier. Batteries can be placed above, between, and underneath the cushions, ensuring they remain securely positioned while being surrounded by the extinguishing granules in the event of a thermal incident.
In the event of thermal runaway, Extover® rapidly absorbs heat, helps displace oxygen, and significantly reduces the risk of fire spreading to surrounding batteries or materials.

The safety box is suitable for the storage and transportation of undamaged or non-critical lithium-ion batteries in accordance with applicable transport regulations. Damaged batteries that present a higher risk must be transported in compliance with the relevant special provisions and legal requirements.
