With the new Extover® Fine container sizes in 10L, 30L and 33L, SmoliTec introduces powerful and professional safety solutions for handling lithium-ion, LiPo and metal fires in industrial, workshop, storage, research and logistics environments.
The specially developed Extover® Fine fire extinguishing granulate based on inorganic expanded glass technology has been designed for modern energy storage systems and safety-critical applications. The fine 0.5–1 mm grain size provides excellent flow characteristics and allows batteries, fire sources and sensitive electronics to be optimally surrounded and protected.
In the event of a fire, the granulate reduces oxygen supply, absorbs thermal energy and forms a sealing protective layer at high temperatures. This significantly reduces the risk of reignition while avoiding the typical secondary damage caused by water or aggressive extinguishing agents.
The new container sizes cover a wide range of applications – from mobile workshop and service solutions to professional industrial and storage applications.
